How To Read Usage
- Open
Usage. - Check total download, upload, and combined usage.
- Review usage percentage against data limit if the plan has a limit.
- Check daily graph or table for high-usage days.
- Review session history if available.
Common Reasons Usage Looks Unexpected
| Situation | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Usage updates late | RADIUS accounting may post usage after session updates or disconnect. |
| Usage is higher than expected | Multiple devices, streaming, downloads, updates, or shared Wi-Fi. |
| Usage shows zero | ISP may have disabled display or accounting data may not be available yet. |
| Active session missing | Router accounting or NAS connectivity may need ISP review. |
Customer Action
If usage looks wrong, customer should share date, approximate time, device count, and screenshot with ISP support. ISP staff should verify RADIUS accounting and subscriber sessions.
