Field Technician Workflow

Field technicians handle installation, repair, device replacement, cable work, and site visits. Their portal access is usually limited to tickets, field visits, subscribers, and technician stock.

Where To Open

Field Visits Support -> Field Visits /field-visits/index
Tickets Support -> Tickets /tickets/index
Technician Stock Inventory -> Technician Stock /technician-stock/index

Visit Flow

  1. Open assigned field visit.
  2. Review subscriber, address, issue, and scheduled time.
  3. Start visit when reaching site.
  4. Record diagnosis and work done.
  5. Add used material or device serial number.
  6. Mark visit complete or failed with reason.
  7. Update ticket comment.

Installation Flow

  1. Confirm customer identity and address.
  2. Install CPE, router, ONU, or cable.
  3. Record serial numbers and MAC address.
  4. Verify signal or link status.
  5. Confirm subscriber login.
  6. Mark installation complete.

Material Rules

Do not use unassigned stock without recording movement. Serial-numbered devices should always be linked to subscriber or visit record.
