ISP Network and RADIUS

The Network and RADIUS modules connect subscriber records to real network access. Use them for NAS devices, IP pools, online sessions, authentication logs, RADIUS health, CPE devices, and network graphs.

Where To Open

Area Menu URL
NAS Devices Networking -> NAS Devices /nas-devices/index
IPv4 Pools Networking -> IPv4 Pools /ipv4-pools/index
IPv6 Pools Networking -> IPv6 Pools /ipv6-pools/index
CPE Devices Networking -> CPE Devices /cpe-devices/index
Online Sessions Networking -> Online Sessions /radius/online-sessions
Auth Log Networking -> Auth Log /radius/auth-log
Network Graphs Networking -> Network Graphs /network/graph

Add A NAS Router

  1. Open Networking -> NAS Devices.
  2. Click Add NAS Device.
  3. Enter NAS name, IP address, RADIUS secret, vendor, ports, and CoA settings.
  4. Save the device.
  5. Use status check, ping, or test action to confirm connectivity.
  6. Configure the same shared secret and accounting settings on the router.

Add or edit production NAS devices carefully. A wrong secret, wrong source IP, or missing accounting configuration can affect live subscriber login and usage tracking.

Configure IP Pools

  1. Open IPv4 Pools or IPv6 Pools.
  2. Create pool with CIDR or address range.
  3. Assign pool to the correct NAS or tenant scope.
  4. Mark reserved or excluded ranges before assigning subscribers.
  5. Use pool detail page to monitor allocations.

Read Online Sessions

Use Online Sessions to verify who is currently connected. For a stuck session:

  1. Search by username or subscriber.
  2. Confirm NAS and framed IP.
  3. Use close or disconnect action where available.
  4. Re-check auth log if the subscriber reconnects and fails.

Read Auth Log

Auth Log is the fastest place to debug failed login.

Error Type Meaning Fix
Wrong password Subscriber credential mismatch Reset password or update router client config.
Expired or suspended CRM blocked service Renew, resume, or correct expiry.
Unknown NAS Router not registered Add NAS and secret.
Attribute mismatch RADIUS policy issue Check plan, speed, pool, and custom attributes.
