Basic Inventory Setup
- Create products for each item type.
- Create warehouses or storage locations.
- Receive opening stock through inventory receive or import.
- Assign stock to technicians only when field work requires it.
- Record stock movement whenever material changes location.
Receive Stock
- Open
Inventory -> Stock Overview. - Click receive stock.
- Select product, warehouse, quantity, serial numbers if required, and purchase reference.
- Save receipt.
- Verify stock appears in product and warehouse balance.
Purchase Order Flow
- Create purchase order with vendor, products, quantity, and expected price.
- Approve or send as per internal process.
- Receive stock against purchase order when material arrives.
- Match received quantity with ordered quantity.
- Keep serial numbers accurate for devices assigned to subscribers.
Field Material Use
When a technician consumes material during installation or support, record it from field visit or stock movement flow. This keeps inventory, subscriber equipment history, and cost reporting aligned.
